Free Head Start & Early Head Start Programs

Educare Academy is proud to partner with Lucas County Family Council and Great Lakes Community Action Partnership to offer free Early Head Start (EHS) and Head Start (HS) programs for qualifying families in Lucas and Wood Counties.
Early Head Start
Our Early Head Start program serves children under age three, providing nurturing care, early learning, and family support that build a strong foundation for future success.
Head Start
Our Head Start program continues that journey for children ages three through five, focusing on school readiness through engaging learning that supports physical, cognitive, social, and emotional growth.
Both programs are offered at no cost to lower-income families, helping every child gain the skills, confidence, and curiosity needed for kindergarten and beyond.
Community & Classroom Fun
Learning at Educare Academy Jackman extends far beyond the classroom. Through themed celebrations, hands-on activities, and community engagement, we make every season special and meaningful for our students.
Classroom Parties
From Valentine’s Day to St. Patrick’s Day and Halloween, we bring holidays to life through crafts, games, and connection.
Special Attire Days
From Wacky Hair Day to Rodeo Week, we make learning fun with themed dress-up days tied to events, holidays, and weekly lessons.
Fun Within the Community
Through special visits from community helpers and local professionals, children get to learn about the world around them.
These experiences help children connect what they learn in class to the world around them, building confidence and compassion with every adventure.
